ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FAITH FORMATION
(RELIGIOUS EDUCATION)

Our Elementary Faith Formation program serves the public school children in our parish from PreK thru 5th grade.

From September through April the students come together to learn about our Faith in an interactive and safe environment.  The children begin to develop a relationship with Jesus that we continue to expand upon as they grow.

MIDDLE SCHOOL FAITH FORMATION  “BEACH CATHOLIC”

Our Middle School Faith Formation Program is a combined effort between three of our barrier island parishes, St. Ignatius Martyr, St. Mary of the Isle and Our Lady of Miraculous Medal to teach our Faith to Long Beach Public School Students.

Each week students from all parishes come together in a dynamic setting to witness and learn our Faith. From September through April,  all 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Students (St. Ignatius & St. Mary’s) and 8th Grade (OLMM) are required to attend 6pm mass at St. Ignatius Martyr Church followed by one hour of religious instruction classes.

This program highlights both the Eucharist and The Gospel with the simple goal of bringing youth together to encounter Jesus Christ, all while preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
